The Neon Museum

Large collection of historic Las Vegas neon signs. Located in fabulous downtown Las Vegas, the Neon Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to preserving the rich history of the city through its most iconic art forms, the neon sign. Colab Las Vegas

Architecture and Design collaborative working gallery. In January of 2012, Finchem began developing the business plan for COLAB Las Vegas while recruiting Zak Ostrowski, Craig Palacios, Katie Tracy, Kelly Bennett, Michelle DiMauro, Heather Soto, Kirsten Clarke, and Tyler Schafer, a diverse group of active Las Vegas downtown professionals to assist in further developing the organization. With the assistance of Faciliteq Interiors who donated the use of a 600-sf gallery space, COLAB Las Vegas was able to officially launch April 5th, 2012 with a grand opening exhibit event showcasing AIA 2010 and 2011 built and unbuilt design awards. Since then, COLAB Las Vegas has since moved into a gallery space at Art Square in the 18b Arts District in downtown Las Vegas.

Almost 25 years ago, a group of inspired artists, students, and instructors for the UNLV Department of Fine Art started the Contemporary Arts Collective to provide a venue for emerging artists to share ideas and concepts. The simple goal back then was to share exhibition space for the members of the Collective whose work, at the time, proved too adventurous for the local galleries to show. Today, the CAC has broadened its mission to a wider audience serving Las Vegas and Clark County, while still in the business of promoting new ideas, discourses, and trends in contemporary art.
